PACE Sponsors CU Science Explorers

PACE is pleased to sponsor University of Colorado Science Explorers Workshops.

Each Science Explorers workshop consists of 21 teams, each composed of a teacher and 5 students (5th–8th grade), participating in a full day of hands-on science learning about alternative and renewable energy.
Science Explorers workshops include:

  • An introductory presentation and 3 sessions (wind, solar, alternative fuels)
  • The "(Em)powering the Future" curriculum to take with you
  • Teacher and student materials kits for classroom use
  • Curriculum and activities that meet Colorado Content Standards

Lamar, Montrose, Denver, Sterling, Boulder, Pueblo, Longmont, Steamboat Springs, and more!
